2501 Telegraph Avenue commercial shell & facade remodel

2501 Telegraph Avenue, Berkeley, CA

2501 Telegraph Avenue, also known as The King Building, is a commercial building located near the corner of Telegraph Avenue and Dwight Way.  1901 landmark.  Facade improvements included restoration of the entry and storefront.  Interior shell work was done to replace the wood-framed floor with a concrete slab on grade and new accessible toilet rooms.  

2007  BAHA, Berkeley Architectural Heritage Association:
           Preservation Award: The Fred King Building, 2501 Telegraph Avenue.                        Remodel and restoration of a 1901 landmark building.
