2628 Telegraph Avenue, Berkeley CA

2628 Telegraph Avenue is a five-story mixed-use building located at the corner of Carleton Street.  It is comprised of a ground floor with retail and parking, and four residential floors above.  The garage is accessed at the middle of the Carleton street façade and contains 18 lift stalls and one accessible on-grade stall.  The remainder of the ground floor has 1,300 square feet of retail space.  The four upper residential floors contain a total of 15 units. Usable open space is provided to 4 units with private decks.  Common usable open space is provided by the 1,170 square foot roof deck.  The project was well received by the neighborhood association and easily obtained design review and zoning permits.
